AWE’s Birthday Party will be held in conjunction with the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum Neighborhood Night on January 18 and in partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools, Turnaround Arts: Milwaukee and Milwaukee PBS. This event is FREE and fun for all ages, so bring the whole family 🙂 Join us for an evening of art making, learning, and FUN!
The event will include:
-Opportunities to speak with local artists
-Participate in free visual arts projects
-AWE’s birthday-themed photo booth
-A special performance by the Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts African drummers.
-Milwaukee PBS will invite guests to discover their inner artist with Storytelling 101, an interactive program where kids can be the author and the illustrator of their own stories.
*The Museum is proud to join Milwaukee Public Schools and other community partners in the Cre8MKE network for the Year of the Arts campaign, which encourages MPS K-12 student families to participate in arts events throughout the city.
