Become an AWE School Studio Artist!

If you have strong professional background in the visual, performing or literary arts and a passion for facilitating the creative learning processes with children, you might make a great AWE School Studio Lead or Intern Artist!  School Studio Artists are exhibiting professional artists who have flexible schedules and experience working with children in school settings. They plan and implement large scale collaborative art projects with students, teachers and school administrators. All projects take place during the school day and operate on a schedule determined by the artists, school faculty and staff.

Join Our Truck Studio Staff!

Are you interested in being part of a creative team responsible for bringing art to children in non-traditional settings?  Do you have artistic talents and energy to share with children in need or art experiences? In the springtime, AWE starts hiring creative, adaptable and dedicated students and professionals in art related fields to staff our summer Truck Studio program.

Volunteer With AWE!

Work creatively with children ages 4-14, meet professional artists and art students and visit Milwaukee parks and special community events throughout the year!   Experience the magic of children’s art and the joy of guiding children through the creative process. Weekend, evening and daytime hours are available.
