Art Activity Volunteers help our team of artists and art interns provide meaningful art activities to under served children in the Milwaukee area. There are several different ways you can get involved:

Truck Studio Summer Volunteer

In the summertime, our four Truck Studio vans visit Milwaukee parks and playgrounds every weekday afternoon Monday-Friday from 1-4 p.m. between the end of June and beginning of August. Volunteer for one (or more!) weeks and work along side our staff to deliver free creative experiences to children outdoors!

Year Round Special Event Volunteer

The Truck Studio also takes art activities to special outreach events on weekends and evenings throughout the year: farmers markets, special events at museums, neighborhood picnics, and more. A perfect volunteer opportunity for people with limited schedules.

School Studio Volunteer

Volunteers also assist with School Studio residency projects, working with professional artists to facilitate the creation of a large collaborative piece of artwork in a school setting during the school day.

Because we work with children, background checks will be conducted as part of the application process.
