Artists Working in Education (AWE) is thrilled to invite our incredible community of teaching artists, staff, and program partners to a special juried exhibition in the Back Room at Colectivo’s East Side Café on Prospect Avenue. For 25 years, you've helped us shape the future through art, and now, it's time to showcase your remarkable talent in an exhibition dedicated to you!
Overview
Timeline:
Notification Date: Artists will be notified of their acceptance for the juried exhibition by October 25th, 2024
Gallery Opening: Join us for the opening celebration on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM
Exhibition Dates: Thursday, November 14th, 2024 - Friday, January 3rd, 2025
Artwork Drop-off:
Drop-off Dates: November 8-10, 2024 at Colectivo on Prospect Avenue,
Submission Details
Eligibility: Open to AWE alumni, including former or current teaching artists, assistants, staff members, program partners, or participants
Entry Fee: None!
Submission Deadline: Tuesday, October 15, 2024, by 11:59 PM
Artwork Submission: Submit 2 to 5 pieces of artwork for jury consideration. Digital Artwork is accepted if printed and delivered ready to hang. (Note: No digital media such as sound, animation, or video will be accepted.)
