Ways To Give

Washington Park Wednesdays

Beginning in July, Washington Park Neighbors presents Washington Park Wednesdays! With established and emerging local and visiting musicians, the latest and greatest food trucks, and a plethora of engaging activities, Wednesdays never had it so good. We will return this year with our popular theme nights curated to showcase and combine a diverse spectrum of music, art, and fun through outstanding regional talent. We will also be using these themes to garner some focus to needs and interests of the city’s youth and at-risk population. We truly believe that art in all its forms presented in an aesthetic and historical setting at no cost to the public can provide a sea change in our city and in our society.

WORKPLACE GIVING AND MATCHING

Giving and matching through your employer’s workplace giving program are some of the easiest ways to give to AWE. To donate through a workplace giving campaign, such as a United Way or UPAF campaign, simple designate or write in AWE as your chosen charity for your donation to be automatically deducted from your paycheck.

Many companies also offer matching contributes for charitable donations. Ask your company’s human resources department for more information.

STOCK DONATIONS

Avoid taxes on your capital gains by donating appreciated stock to AWE. Contact your financial advisor for more information.

ESTATE PLANNING AND BEQUESTS

Estate planning and bequests offer ways to leave a legacy of high quality and accessible arts education for generations of Milwaukee youth. There are many ways to give from your estate, including naming AWE as a beneficiary in your will, retirement plan, or life insurance.

With generous support from the Four Four Foundation, in 2016, AWE established the Artists Working in Education Fund at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
